A treasured destination spot for Northern California locals, the warmth and hospitality winery goers experience when visiting Casque Wines in Loomis keeps them going back for more. Award-winning Wines Paired With Great Hospitality
Along the Placer Wine Trail sits the Casque Wines tasting room, sharing land with a local bed and breakfast, and a quaint little nursery and cafe.Upon entering the tasting room, you are greeted with warmth, as if by an old friend. You’re invited to perch at the counter for a sample of their award-winning, Rhône style offerings, including their Adrian proprietary red blend (65% Mourvèdre, 35% Syrah). And, upon sampling, you learn that the wines are just as friendly as the hosts!

Blending several different varietals together to create a wine that is greater than the sum of its parts…
Winemaker Kevin Stevenson
Owner and winemaker Kevin Stevenson’s philosophy is rooted in the time-honored French tradition of blending several different varietals together to create a wine that is greater than the sum of its parts. He also seeks to create single varietal wines that are delicious “in their own right,” sourcing the grapes from local vineyard sites that he believes are special. Producing small lots of delicious wine from the very best vineyard sources in the Sierra Foothills is what Casque is known (and loved!) for. Just ask any of its many club members!

It Lingers on the Palate
…. Not just the wine, but also the experience. The outdoor patio invites guests to leisurely sip their wine and enjoy a picnic lunch. Equipped with fire pits when the weather is chilly, and misters when it is hot, you could comfortably spend an entire afternoon there, sharing a bottle of wine and a bite with old and new friends. On any given day, you’ll even spot Kevin and his lovely bride, Ann, enjoying time on the patio with their patron friends.

And…”Friday Nights on the Patio” are the place to be to enjoy a relaxing evening of wine, live music, and food, featuring a different band and food truck each week.
It’s not hard to see why many call Casque their “home away from home,” keep going back, and remain faithful patrons year after year.
There’s no place like home!
